Little Beetdiggers Volleyball Informational Meeting (5/13/20)

Jordan High School volleyball program will now be extended into the Junior High. We already have a league to participate in during the Fall season. This program is for 6th – 8th graders. Program is designed to have multiple teams from developmental to competitive.

Open Gym Aug 17 &19 from 6-7:30 pm

This is open to all CSD students grades 6-9
Tryouts will be Monday, Aug 24 @ 6 pm

◆ Practices will be held Mondays from 6-7:30 pm
◆ Practices will also be on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 until season competition starts
◆ Games will be held on Wednesdays starting Sept. 9th (played at a different HS each week)
◆ Game times range between 6 – 9 pm

Coach Crawford Crawford’s Head Coaching experience includes 7 years as a collegiate head coach, 2 years collegiate assistant coach, 7 years of club volleyball, 5 years of high school volleyball, and 15 years of summer camps and clinics. Some of the coaching awards earned are: League Coach of the year, Conference Coach of the year, Regional Coach of the year, and a nomination for National coach for the year. Crawford’s high school teams have earned league titles and qualified every year for the State Tournament with 3 Elite Eight appearances. At the club level, his teams have finished in the top bracket finishing 6th in the State. At the Collegiate level, Crawford took 2 struggling programs and turned them into Nationally Ranked programs with National Tournament Appearances. Players from high school include: 1 Player of the Year, 4 All-State, 9 All-League, 12 Honorable Mentions, 17 All Academic, and 4 Team Academic Awards. Players from those programs include (college): 3 All-Americans, 15 All-Conference, 34 All-Academic, 5 Academic All-Americans, and 5 Team Academic Awards.

Crawford moved to Utah a few years ago when he stepped down from being a collegiate volleyball coach to be an Athletic Director and spend more time with his family. Volleyball and coaching are two things he loves and after spending a few years away from direct coaching involvement, he decided it was time to coach again.
